Hyunchul Park, a Ph.D. student in TUPA, has won an NRF research grant through the Doctoral Student Research Encouragement Program. His project brings together humanoid robots, world models, and vehicle-to-everything (V2X) technologies.

The work develops world-model-based driving skills for humanoid robots and validates them on real vehicles across a V2X-enabled testbed. The proposal drew strong evaluations for its concrete research plan, the clear link between its research and academic goals, and the capabilities and environment of the research team.
